We love everything about this summer-inspired styled shoot with a bohemian touch, especially the engraved wooden stationery that accompanied it. The simple white and pink roses were perfect with the right touches, and, as always, Bloc Memoire has delivered a gorgeous set of photos. Thanks, Fiona Treadwell, for bringing this dream team together.
Fiona: “This styled shoot focused on everything handmade and natural, with a pinch of bohemian. I focused on florals in styling the scene, and hand-knotted the macramé backdrop. The other vendors were given a simple brief: a sunny shoot with lots of handmade goodness.
“They did what they do best – Caramel & Co. created an airy and dreamy dress; Olive Suite produced a trendsetting spaghetti strap two-piece; and Mr. Gentleman complemented both gowns with a dapper summer blue suit. Common Hands were anything but – they are such crafty wood makers, and did everything from designing the invitations to doing the escort cards and menu. I needed raw but beautiful looking desserts, and Swirl Dessert Tables were a good choice, providing a barnacled naked cake with pear tarts and a savoury raspberry tart.
“Xara, the makeup artist, did magic with her hands, accenting the bride-to-be’s features well without overloading the makeup. And the finishing touches were by Pinwheel Jewels, who added sparkle to the bride-to-be.”
