A Breathtaking Wedding at KLGCC and M Hotel, Kuala Lumpur with Sweeping Golf Course Views

For Yong Ren and Audrey, both avid golfers, the search for the perfect wedding venue was a journey that ended on the greens. Their love for the sport led them to explore the newly minted M Resort at Kelab Golf Perkhidmatan Awam (KGPA), where the ambiance and location struck a chord, compelling them to book it for their reception without a second thought. Their decision to hold the ROM ceremony at KLGCC, against the breathtaking backdrop of the golf course, perfectly encapsulated their love for the game and each other, providing a picturesque setting that was both elegant and deeply personal.

The day unfolded in a series of heartfelt and vibrant events, beginning with a gate-crashing session, followed by the ROM ceremony and a traditional tea ceremony at KLGCC. 

Inspired by the blue carpet of the M Resort’s ballroom and foyer, they opted for a blue chinoiserie theme that effortlessly blended tradition with modern elegance. The incorporation of chinoiserie vases and a consistent palette of white and blue across decorations and invitations created a harmonious and visually stunning setting for their celebration.

The evening brought everyone to the M Resort for a dinner reception that was anything but ordinary. Highlighted by a wedding flash mob that transformed the aisle into centre stage, and a “how well do you know the couple” quiz that engaged guests in friendly competition, the celebration was a testament to Yong Ren and Audrey’s creative and inclusive spirit. “Halfway through the aisle during the second march in, the music stopped and switched to “another day of sun” from Lalaland. Wanting it to be more intimate, we planned for the dance to be on ground, close to our guests. The dance was the highlight of the night as everyone got hyped up.” shared Audrey.

Their journey to the altar is filled with lessons and advice for future couples, emphasizing the importance of research, clear vision, and the selection of experienced vendors to ensure a smooth and memorable celebration.
