Jacob and Serene’s wedding on 7 January 2024 transformed The St. Regis Singapore into an enchanting snow-kissed fairytale. Inspired by their love for all things winter, the couple celebrated their day wrapped in elegant shades of white and icy blue, surrounded by loved ones and thoughtful, personal touches.
The grand ballroom gleamed with towering arrangements of white orchids, hydrangeas, and baby’s breath in wintery whites and frosty blues. Candlelit tables and snow-dusted trees created an ethereal atmosphere, while a bespoke cake from Serene’s own bakery stood tall as an edible masterpiece. Guests were treated to curated cocktails by Nutmeg & Clove, artisanal ice cream by Birds of Paradise, and left with personalised gold bars from Poh Kong — a nod to the couple’s appreciation for meaningful keepsakes.
Serene stunned in three exquisite looks: an off-shoulder lace ball gown with a cathedral veil and jewelled tiara for the ceremony, a dramatic midnight-blue ruffled gown for the reception, and a dazzling crystal-embellished feathered dress for the lively afterparty. Jacob complemented each look in a classic dark suit and a black tuxedo, exuding timeless sophistication.
One highlight was a heartfelt performance by Malaysian singer Jeryl Lee, filling the frosted hall with warmth and joy. An energetic afterparty, complete with games and dancing, rounded off an evening that perfectly balanced elegance with fun.
