For Katharine and Nathan, their Tuscan elopement wasn’t just about picture-perfect backdrops—it was about privacy, peace, and being present with each other. Ahead of their grand wedding in Penang next year, they wanted a celebration that felt truly theirs – “just the two of us.”

The bride had one key request: cypress trees. But rather than the usual tourist-heavy spots like Lake Como, their planner suggested Il Borro—an exquisite, lesser-known estate nestled in the heart of Tuscany. Having visited before, the planner knew its charm: secluded, luxurious, and utterly timeless—perfect for a shy couple seeking something sincere.

Set against golden light and olive groves, they exchanged handwritten vows where Nathan spoke of a blind date that turned into fate, and Katharine recalled their first date where they had oysters, tennis matches, and long commutes between KL and Penang that Nathan took regularly in order to see her.
