We are always captivated by how majestic churches in the Philippines are. Walking through those grand entrances and down the aisles must be every little girl’s dream.

When it was her turn, Larae looked effortlessly elegant in her Monique Lhuillier long trail gown and cathedral veil. The couple chose a season-less neutral palette, and we love how thoughtful they were to personalise gifts for each member of their bridal party, right down to the little ones.

We can imagine how cool it must have been for each of the guests to get a flipbook from the photobooth, and how amazing the after party was, where the older guests danced to the music of the band and the younger ones danced the night away to the music of the groom, DJ Monds. Thanks to Metrophoto for sending us this set of photos, and Derek Yee‘s video for giving us a complete picture of this beautiful wedding.

Larae: “We wanted a wedding with a scenic view. Pavillion Tent of Sofitel was perfect because it faces the Manila Bay. This reminded us of our wedding proposal, which was done on a cruise. We also chose a tent as it can be dressed up according to our personal taste and style, unlike ballrooms where you are stuck with the same look and feel.”

Tips from the bride: “Start preparing as early as possible. Less cramming means less stress as you near your wedding day. If you have the time, opt for DIY so it will be more meaningful and personal as it reflects the couple’s personality more. Pamper yourself weeks before to relax both mind and body, and focus on the true meaning of marriage, which is a lifetime commitment, not just on the wedding day itself.”
