To infuse a pop of colour into an elegant wedding, as this couple did at Cantaloupe, The Troika Sky Dining, is to create a delightful surprise. As the venue already featured a fantastic classy, industrial backdrop, their tastefully selected décor of silver and gold, blush and magenta bouquets, and wood-toned stationery was minimal so as to not overpower the surroundings.
The bride shared: “We had many themes in mind initially but we decided it was more important to keep things real and capture the moments with the people who matter. We went with minimal décor, and Moments Wedding Planner helped to ensure that we would have less floral elements and more greenery. In the end, our guests were so beautiful that they outshone the venue anyway.” Thanks for the superb album, Zach Chin Photography of ZA Gallery!
Tips from the bride: “Be open and realistic when planning and everything will flow through. We found everything online, starting with the photographer, followed by the videographer, and finally the venue. Most of our venue ideas came from browsing through photographers’ websites.
“We found Zach Chin and he recommended Beni Films Videography based on our style. We then found my wedding gown designer through The Wedding Notebook when I was actually looking for my makeup artist, Joey Yap. Everything is intertwined, you just need to hit the right keywords and a plethora of endless information will open up to you.”
