Elegant Home ROM Ceremony filled with Baby’s Breath and Petite Desserts

Quan and Sharmaine first crossed paths over a craving for hot pot and karaoke — a casual supper in 2019 that quietly planted the seeds of a love story Sharmaine never expected. After a patient courtship, a dinner invitation that blossomed into years together, and a snow-dusted proposal mid-dance in Niseko, the couple chose to begin their marriage where their hearts feel most at ease: at home.

For their ROM, the couple leaned into warmth and familiarity. The bride was elegance itself in a tailored white blazer over a lace skirt, accented with a double-strand pearl necklace, pearl drop earrings, and sheer Gucci slingback heels — timeless yet personal touches that spoke of quiet sophistication. By her side, Quan complemented her in a classic black three-piece suit, softened with an ivory shirt and a pale gold tie, striking a perfect balance of formality and ease.

The ceremony unfolded in a soft cloud of baby’s breath and calla lilies — ethereal arrangements that framed their aisle and dessert table. Rather than a traditional cake, they delighted guests with a lavish spread of their favourite sweets: a towering vanilla croquembouche, a 30-inch strawberry mille-feuille, opera cakes, and polished bowls of grapes and cherries, all styled atop ivory drapery and gleaming silver stands.

For the couple, the most memorable moment was exchanging vows surrounded by people they love, in a space already imbued with their memories.
