Shanghai never disappoints, with its rich history and twinkling lights in stark contrast with the skyscrapers and modern infrastructure. Yet the allure of old China remains when you explore its sidewalks and pavements, and these photos are proof.
We love the bride’s jaw-dropping outfits and dramatic makeup, the hustle and bustle of the streets, and especially that rooftop shot overlooking the Shanghai skyline! Many thanks to Oly Ruiz of Metrophoto for these shots, which, by the way, were only the first stop for the couple in a series of locations across China. Don’t miss part 2 of their bridal portraits, which were taken in Lijiang and Shangri-La.
Kam Go: “We worked with the Manila-based stylist Adrianne Concepcion, who chose our outfits based on the location photos we provided during our initial meeting. For the formal layouts in Shanghai, we wore clothes made by the Filipino fashion designer Francis Libiran, who also designed our wedding day outfits.”
