Intimate Wedding at Enderong Resort Featuring a Rustic Terranean Look

After a beautiful journey of 13 years, Louis and Yee Si’s love story culminated in an intimate wedding ceremony, celebrated with their closest family and friends. Held at the picturesque Enderong Resort in Janda Baik, the venue choice was deeply influenced by the couple’s appreciation for nature and the desire to provide a vacation-like retreat for their family. Nestled amidst lush greenery, the architecture of the venue complemented the couple’s vision for their special day.

Opting for a “flowerless” theme, Louis and Yee Si’s wedding was a stunning departure from traditional floral arrangements. Instead, the couple chose a palette of green, yellow, and burnt orange, incorporating fillers, foliage, and wildflowers to create a minimalist and earthy unkept look. The ceremony space featured a foliage pillar in place of a traditional wedding arch, embodying the couple’s preference for less conventional and personalised touches.

The wedding decor emphasised natural elements, with a minimalist tablescape adorned with fresh moss and muted colours. Each detail was thoughtfully curated, from the terrarium-style welcome signage to the fabric guest seating chart and circular place cards. The cascading hoop bridal bouquet, accented with a sentimental gift – “I included knitting needles that Louis used when he knitted a scarf gift for me.” shared Yee Si.

The wedding day began with the bride and groom preparing for their big moment, followed by a private photoshoot on the venue’s beautiful grounds. Louis and Yee Si exchanged vows and signed their legal documents in a heartfelt ceremony. The same area was then reutilised for a traditional tea ceremony, with strategic placement of double happiness decorations that added a vibrant cultural touch to the setting. The celebration continued with a delightful buffet reception, where guests enjoyed a sumptuous spread amidst the lush surroundings of the resort.
