It’s not often that you’ll find a bride opting to wear an unconventional wedding gown, but this bride did, and she looked stunning in her sparkly silver wedding gown and chic hairdo. Save for the bridesmaids, who were in flowing silver dresses, guests were asked to come dressed in black.

The cool starry backdrop, geometric decorative elements, sparkly disco lights and cool blue lighting all made for a very cool, very fun party to celebrate the union of two people. Many thanks to Peter Herman Photography for capturing the decorative aesthetics and creative styling by The Next Best Thing so well!

Do check out also their fun filled bridal portraits; we can’t get enough of these two.

Natalie: “It felt more like a party with close friends instead of a traditional wedding party. All our guests showed up in the requested dress code, which really let the shades of silver and glitter pop.

“I loved the edgy geometrical décor of the dessert bar and table settings, as well as the retro disco ball for the dance floor. Everything was done by Shyyi of The Next Big Thing who knew exactly what I wanted for my dream wedding: something cool and unconventional with a touch of glam.

“As for the geometry concept, my husband and I have entirely different personalities but we’re still better together. The geometry shapes represent the two of us coming together as one despite our different edges.”

Tips from the bride: “Planning a wedding takes a lot of time, energy and focus, so whether you know what you want or have no idea at all, a wedding planner can help you to define your theme, concept, mood, and the emotions you want to set. Getting a professional wedding planner will help you save a lot of time and all you have to do is take care of yourself and enjoy every moment of your special day with your dream man.”
