1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using The Wedding Notebook ("Platform"), operated at theweddingnotebook.com, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service ("Terms"). If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform.

We may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the Platform after changes are posted constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.

2. Eligibility

You must be at least 18 years old to create an account or use the Platform. By registering, you represent that you meet this age requirement and that the information you provide is accurate and complete.

3. Account Responsibilities

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. You agree to notify us immediately of any unauthorised use. We reserve the right to suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms.

4. Platform Description

The Wedding Notebook is a directory and planning platform that connects couples with wedding vendors in Malaysia. We provide tools for browsing vendor listings, submitting enquiries, scheduling appointments, and organising wedding inspiration. We do not directly provide wedding services and are not a party to any agreement between couples and vendors.

5. Couple Users

As a couple user, you agree to:

• Provide accurate information when creating your account and submitting enquiries
• Use the messaging system respectfully and in good faith
• Not use the Platform to spam, harass, or send unsolicited commercial communications to vendors
• Not attempt to circumvent the Platform to avoid vendor fees or credits

6. Vendor Users

As a vendor user, you agree to:

• Provide accurate and up-to-date business information, pricing, and portfolio content
• Respond to enquiries and appointment requests in a timely manner
• Not misrepresent your services, availability, or pricing
• Comply with all applicable Malaysian laws and regulations governing your business
• Maintain sufficient credits to accept new enquiries and appointments as required by the Platform

7. Prohibited Conduct

You agree not to:

• Use the Platform for any unlawful purpose
• Upload content that is defamatory, obscene, fraudulent, or infringes on third-party rights
• Attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Platform, other accounts, or our systems
• Scrape, crawl, or use automated tools to extract data from the Platform without permission
• Interfere with or disrupt the Platform's infrastructure or other users' experience
• Share contact information (email addresses, phone numbers) through the chat system to bypass the Platform

8. Content & Intellectual Property

You retain ownership of content you upload to the Platform, including photos, text, and business information. By uploading content, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to use, display, and distribute that content in connection with operating and promoting the Platform.

The Wedding Notebook name, logo, and Platform design are our intellectual property. You may not use our branding without prior written consent.

9. Third-Party Services

The Platform integrates with third-party services including payment processors, mapping providers, and messaging infrastructure. Your use of these services is subject to their respective terms and privacy policies. We are not responsible for the availability or conduct of third-party services.

10. Limitation of Liability

The Platform is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not guarantee the accuracy of vendor listings, the quality of vendor services, or uninterrupted access to the Platform.

To the maximum extent permitted by Malaysian law, The Wedding Notebook shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Platform, including but not limited to loss of profits, data, or business opportunities.

11. Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless The Wedding Notebook, its officers, and employees from any claims, damages, or expenses arising from your use of the Platform, your violation of these Terms, or your infringement of any third-party rights.

12. Termination

We may suspend or terminate your account at our discretion if you violate these Terms or engage in conduct that we determine is harmful to the Platform or other users. You may delete your account at any time through your account settings. Upon termination, your right to use the Platform ceases immediately.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
