Open since 1991, Ciao Ristorante is an institution when it comes to Italian dining in Kuala Lumpur. If you are looking for a truly authentic Italian food experience, our 30 years of commitment will not disappoint you. The restaurant resembles a rustic Italian farm house with a cosy garden and a small lake overlooking the golf course. The surrounding greenery and the ample parking facilities make us a unique venue for outdoor weddings and any other type of events. Spacious high-ceilinged rooms are suitable for indoor events too.
Main Dinning Room
Overlooking the lush and picturesque golf course, this is the largest and most prominent room within the restaurant, offering an impressive and elegant space ideal for a wide variety of events. The room’s expansive layout provides ample space for seated dinners, corporate gatherings, presentations, receptions, and more. Its elevated position offers guests stunning views of the beautifully manicured fairways, adding a touch of natural serenity and sophistication to any occasion. One of the key advantages of this room is its direct connection to the adjacent lounge bar, making it perfect for hosting pre-dinner cocktails or informal networking sessions. Guests can enjoy a relaxed and welcoming atmosphere in the lounge before moving seamlessly into the main event space, allowing for a smooth transition between stages of the event. This flexibility enhances the overall experience and supports both casual and formal gatherings. The room is also fully equipped with modern audio-visual amenities, including a ceiling-mounted projector and a high-quality PA (public address) system. Guest Capacity
The Canopy
The canopy area is a spacious and versatile outdoor venue, perfect for hosting a variety of events ranging from elegant banquets to large-scale celebrations. It is designed to comfortably accommodate a maximum of 30 round banquet tables, with each table seating up to 10 guests, making the total capacity approximately 300 people. This generous space makes it ideal for weddings, gala dinners, corporate functions, or community gatherings that require both comfort and a touch of sophistication in an open-air setting. In addition to its seating capacity, the canopy features a fully covered stage measuring 18 feet by 15 feet. The stage provides a professional platform for live entertainment, speeches, performances, or presentations, ensuring your event has a central focal point. Whether you're organizing a concert, an awards ceremony, or a wedding toast, the stage offers both visibility and shelter, allowing events to proceed smoothly regardless of the weather. The stage is also equipped with a 60 Amp 3-phase isolator, providing the necessary electrical infrastructure to support professional lighting, audio equipment, or other technical setups. This ensures that even complex events with significant power requirements can be executed without a hitch. With its generous capacity and built-in amenities, the canopy is an excellent choice for memorable outdoor events.

Glasshouse
The air-conditioned Glasshouse offers a versatile and intimate setting, measuring 28 x 30 ft with a height of 10 ft. It comfortably accommodates up to 80 guests in a theatre-style arrangement, making it ideal for R.O.M ceremonies, small gatherings, or private events. With ample natural light, modern interiors, and climate control, the space provides both comfort and elegance for a memorable occasion.

MINIMUM SPENDING • A guaranteed minimum spending on Food & Beverage (F&B) may be required to book our venues. • No extra rental charges for the venues upon commitment of the guaranteed minimum spending on F&B. • Should the total amount at the end of the event do not reach the agreed minimum spending, the shortage will be charged as a “rental fee” on the final invoice. • FLEXIBILITY: minimum spending rates may not be required based on the date of the event. In this case the venue will be selected at CIAO’s discretion based on the booking situation on that day. Priority on your venue first choice will be considered • The minimum spending rates refers to the usage of the venues for either Lunch or Dinner session only (early access or extension of time accordingly to terms & conditions below). • RENTAL ONLY: Should you wish to rent the Whole Restaurant only and bring your own caterer, the minimum spending will be treated as rental fee at a flat rate of RM 25,000++ for the whole day (tables and chairs included). Alcohol beverages to be purchased from Ciao (glassware provided). • The restaurant reserves the right to accommodate walk in guests or another event in separate venues unless the whole restaurant (excluding Wine cellar and Veranda) is fully booked.
