Carrere: “The most memorable moments for me were my husband’s vows and his surprise performance. I was so deeply touched that he had remembered every single detail from when we started dating, while I have the memory of a goldfish. His performance was amazing, and he never fails to make me smile.
“Our theme was simple. I love the colour black and wanted to incorporate it into the overall look, like the venue, décor design and prints. That’s one of the reasons we chose the venue. We decided to use terra cotta and earthy colours as it really complemented the black. These colour and textural combinations, along with some artistic arrangements, created this chic and moody palette.”
Wen Hau: “The most memorable moment for me was when I performed one of our favourite songs, ‘Friday I’m In Love’ by The Cure, as a surprise. I could tell from her face that she was amazed and happy. We both enjoyed the performance so much.”
Tips from the bride: “Relax, enjoy the whole process, and ultimately, enjoy your day and being with all your loved ones. If something goes wrong, you’re surrounded by people who are willing to help and support you. Get a planner so you are organised when it comes to pesky details like communication, timeline, planning, etc. This leaves you free to focus on the things that really matter.”
