Wedding of NICOLE and CHEE HONG

Nicole Tham Carmenn and Ng Chee Hong’s wedding celebrations were a reflection of the couple’s joyful spirit—equal parts playful and heartfelt. Planned by Rowena and PeakXperience, their festivities were filled with charming personal touches, from a whimsical poodle-themed aisle to thoughtful details that captured their shared love for fun and creativity.
Among the standout moments was a wedding cake by @misshortcakes, adorned with delightful dog-inspired décor that paid tribute to the couple’s affection for their furry companions. Yet it was Nicole’s wedding gown that carried one of the most meaningful stories of the celebration.

After trying on nearly 100 dresses, Nicole had almost given up on finding “the one.” That changed the moment she came across a vibrant floral-embroidered Elie Saab Bridal design on her Instagram feed. What followed was a year-long journey—four fittings, eight flights, and months of anticipation—before the gown finally came to life.
The dress was made even more special as a gift from Nicole’s mother, Lee Jim Leng, making it not only a couture masterpiece but also one of the most treasured pieces of the bride’s wedding story.

The reception transformed the ballroom into a romantic garden dreamscape. Cascading greenery, pastel blooms in shades of blush, lilac and soft peach, and glowing candlelight framed the space, while an elegant white fountain surrounded by lush florals created the feeling of stepping into an enchanted garden. Beneath towering floral arches and classical columns, the stage set the tone for a sophisticated evening of celebration.

Guests were treated to an indulgent cocktail hour featuring an impressive 20-foot dessert table alongside canapés, taufufah, ice cream, and waffles. Towering macaron displays and delicately crafted sweets echoed the wedding’s soft pastel palette, adding a sense of whimsy to the lavish spread.

As the night unfolded, the celebrations took a playful turn with an Alice in Wonderland–themed after-party. With bold red drapery, oversized chess pieces, and the mischievous Cheshire Cat presiding over the scene, the couple invited their guests to step into a fantastical world—an exuberant finale to a wedding that balanced elegance with delightful imagination.
