For Ranggaz and Angie—well known among Indonesia’s circle of public figures, including singers, artists, and prominent government executives—their wedding destination was not chosen by chance. It was deeply tied to a meaningful chapter in their relationship.
In 2025, Ranggaz planned a romantic proposal during a trip to Marrakech. Surrounded by the city’s intoxicating blend of ancient architecture, bustling souks, and vibrant colors, he asked Angie to marry him. When it came time to plan their vow ceremony in January 2026, the choice was clear: they would return to the very place where their engagement began and celebrate their union surrounded by the city’s unmistakable charm.

For the ceremony, Angie embodied timeless elegance in a structured satin wedding gown paired with a long, ethereal veil adorned with lace appliqué details that framed her face and flowed gracefully in the desert breeze. The soft, romantic silhouette complemented the golden landscape surrounding the venue.
The ceremony venue reflected Marrakech’s architectural heritage, with a sand-toned structure featuring traditional Moroccan design elements. A grand floral arch composed of cascading white flowers framed the altar, while a textured white aisle runner created a soft, romantic contrast against the stone courtyard.

As evening approached, guests were welcomed to a long dinner table bathed in golden sunset light. The reception tables were adorned with warm-toned florals—burnt orange roses, deep rust chrysanthemums, golden orchids, and textured foliage—arranged in lush centerpieces that echoed the colors of local spice markets. Accentuated further by brass lanterns above the bar, woven textures and natural fiber, rich terracotta and spice tones. These details brought the inspiration of Moroccan spice markets to life, creating an immersive environment filled with warmth and sensory richness.

The celebration continued with a spectacular after-party in the Agafay Desert, where the couple embraced the theme “Arabian Night.” Guests fully immersed themselves in the experience, arriving in elaborate outfits inspired by Middle Eastern glamour and desert mystique. The evening featured traditional Moroccan performances, including a vibrant entrance moment where performers carried the bride and groom high on a ceremonial chair—an energetic highlight that brought the entire tent alive with music and celebration. Under glowing lanterns and patterned light projections, the desert transformed into a luxurious Arabian-inspired party that perfectly closed the wedding festivities.
