When the father of the groom said he didn’t want a “typical Chinese wedding”, this couple jumped at the opportunity to do something different – a backyard wedding for loved ones and close friends that was swanky yet cosy.

The first thing they did was to hire a reliable wedding planner and discuss their plans with a decorator. They decided on blush, gold and green – colours that they loved and that would bring out the natural beauty of the family home. Bouquets of roses and hydrangeas adorned the lovely garden where they would wed, and every other detail, too, was planned and carried out to perfection.
