We’re just going, wow, this is one of the biggest wedding entourages we’ve ever seen! We love the camaraderie and festivity of the bridal pick-up games, and check out the amazing floral décor at the reception dinner. What an amazing wedding at the Grand Hyatt Kuala Lumpur. The bride shared: “I can’t imagine marrying anyone else but him. I would describe how I felt at my wedding in a few words – happiness, comfort, warmth, fun and peace.”
Inspired by a famous Russian venue designer, Shakirova Julia, the couple’s wedding theme was modern and minimalist, with clean lines, geometric shapes and soft, floral hues. They decided early on that the Grand Ballroom would be perfect for their wedding, especially with its crystal chandeliers that hung from its high ceilings.
Tips from the bride: “The many sources of inspiration out there can overwhelm. Explore a platform or two, say Pinterest or Instagram, and begin your research. Set a style you like and limit your options from there. Once you decide on your wedding style, stay focused on it. It also helps to get organised. You can use some great programmes and apps out there to consolidate your thoughts, budget and numbers.”
