Snowy and Spectacular Bridal Portrait Shoot in Switzerland

Oh, how we found ourselves living vicariously through this couple! Their amazing experience capturing their bridal portraits during a family trip to Luzerne, Thun, Kandersteg, Grindelwald and Zermatt in Switzerland is an adventure of a lifetime that was so well documented in this brilliant album. The bride had found Jackie Yong Photography’s previous work in Switzerland on Instagram, and the family decided to join in too when the couple confirmed the trip for their bridal portraits. The results are a lovely reflection of how the couple embraced this special time, and their album feels more like a documentary than bridal portraits, which is so refreshing.

The bride shared: “The most memorable part was travelling with the whole family in Switzerland for 10 days to shoot these bridal and family portraits! It was so fun travelling to so many places. Some destinations were closed due to a heavy storm in the mountains, where the cable cars had ceased operating. But we found some other places to replace the ones that we wanted to visit but couldn’t.”

They kept the concept simple – they would shoot as they went along the trip, enjoy themselves fully, and pay no attention to the camera. It worked out beautifully! Notice how carefree the couple look in their shots, proving once again that letting your hair down during a bridal portraits photoshoot can only be a good thing.
