Making its powerful debut at Lightbox Studios in Lower Manhattan, the Alyne by Rita Vinieris Spring 2019 offering is a nod to the #MeToo movement that has taken the world by storm. “The collection is all about acceptance and empowerment,” says the designer. “From the unique laces and strong confident, simple gowns to the substantial, edgy bearded harnesses, I wanted to feel courageous and empowered!” We especially love the subtle finishing touches of soft tucks and pleats, understated beading and sheer panels of fabric.
