Galia Lahav Haute Couture Spring 2018 Bridal Collection

This latest spring collection by Galia Lahav, “Victorian Affinity”, was inspired first and foremost by the designer’s “Victorian Affair” evening couture collection, which draws upon the distinctive style of the Victorian era.

Victorian motifs such as high collars that draw the eyes to the collarbones, as well as dramatic (and detachable) Victorian capes and sleeves, take centrestage here, along with delicate textured laces, deep coloured backgrounds, careful attention to detail and a particular emphasis on volume. Meanwhile, the colour palette of porcelain ivory, dusted silver, washed pinks, smoky blush and cream ensure there is a shade for every bride.
