The 2018 Bridal Collection by Jenny Packham was inspired by the character Clara the Swallow in the novel ‘Falling’, which tells the story of a man’s fatal attraction to a circus acrobat.
Paying homage to the exotic beauty, courage and love of freedom that Clara the Swallow embodied, the collection features celestial trailing chiffon, flock tulle ruffles, bonded floral lace and oversized satin bows, juxtaposed with tailored cropped jackets, embellished bodies and sculptured corsetry. At the same time, majestic ostrich feathers, voluminous ballerina skirts and high-octane scarlet hues inject dramatic flair for that theatrical touch.
