Presenting bridal couture with a galactic twist, the 2016 collection by Lusan Mandongus is inspired by none other than the mystery, awe and beauty of the starry heavens. The cosmos is brought to being via the sensuous richness of swirling, rococo-style forms, evoking a sense of dramatic tension and emotional exuberance. For this, the designers created a new lace that is able to communicate the radiating, overlapping shapes of the universe, resulting in a silhouette that offers an intricate web of embroidery over the lace for a luminous fountain reminiscent of the Milky Way.
