Overflowing with an air of royal opulence, inspired by none other than Chateau de Versailles in France, Mischka Aoki’s Spring 2014 collection imagines a little dauphine (princess) in a series of dazzling dresses with luxurious, swirling cascades, pretty floral elements and detailed bodices, in floral silk prints and rich hues including the Pantone Color of the Year 2014, Radiant Orchid.

The unveiling of the splendid collection, with names like “Her Royal Highness”, “The Sunset at Petite Trianon” and “All Hail the Queen”, is also in conjunction with the launch of Mischka Aoki’s Accessories Collection. And indeed the designer’s Swarovski encrusted, bejewelled headbands, exquisite hair clips and spectacular headpieces are simply the perfect crowning glory to her extravagant creations that are fit for a princess.
