We fell in love with this poolside area the moment we stepped into the Le Méridien Putrajaya. The entire hotel had a very contemporary vibe, and styling this shoot was almost effortless because our heads were bursting with great ideas! Thanks again, Peter Herman Photography, for capturing all the swoon-worthy details
We went with a modern eco geometric theme, using shades of grey and white to attain that raw look. Instead of just a variety of potted plants and cacti, we also added wild red flowers for a rustic touch, and Elisa Flower got exactly what we wanted. It was nice to see how a little colour could add so much personality to a regular green theme, and we are excited to see the different directions brides will take as they explore their own style.
The ceremony backdrop was one of the most ambitious we had ever done. We were inspired by creative storefront displays and were maybe a little too excited to build a geometric art installation. We definitely weren’t thinking straight when we proposed it! It was a lot of hard work but the outcome was magnificent, and we look forward to coming up with unique and creative backdrop ideas for our future clients.
If ever there were a hotel today that is so on point in terms of current trends, Le Méridien Putrajaya would be it – from the hanging greens that the florist created, and which is now a permanent fixture, to the gold and silver hexagon tiles on the bar. Plus the chef of Le Méridien Putrajaya is quite talented at food styling too.
Finally, the concrete cake by Novbakes was beyond what we had hoped, and the tablecloths, napkins and chairs were all perfect. Believe us when we say that this venue will make your dream moodboard so much easier to achieve.
