Gilded Geometrics and Blush Florals at Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel

The perfect venue is a beautiful blank canvas that will fit any theme – and the newly refurbished Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur ballroom is exactly that. Now boasting a contemporary feel with neutral colours, it was the site of this gorgeous setup. We cannot thank Sherly of Tie The Knot enough for her efficient coordination. It was also our first time collaborating with Jasmine. A Photography – she’s truly wowed us with her photos!

Even though any colour palette would suit, we decided to go with blush pink and white; a classic combo with infusions of modern touches such as the pink-sprayed baby’s breath, blush pink anthurium and white phalaenopsis, together with traditional garden roses. Elisa Florals, the official florist of Sheraton Imperial Kuala Lumpur Hotel, took our moodboard and brought everything to life. The gilded floral stands certainly added a sense of glamour and dreaminess to the Viking-length tables, and we were spoilt for choice with our linen options. We went with lilac, which paired perfectly with the white napkins and chairs.

Finally, the entire setup exuded modern romance as we added geometric shapes in the form of hexagonal dessert trays and in the stationery art. One can only imagine what new and exciting styles and themes we’ll come up with next year.
