“A time of opulence, exuberance, decadence and extravagance. Diamonds, pearls and gold in all their lovely hues. Precious silks, laces and embroideries that are sure to feel right at home in the grandest salon. Encompassing the imagination and artistry of a bygone era, alluding to a dream world where beauty reigns, the aesthetic [of this collection] is always feminine and decidedly romantic.”
So described by Claire Pettibone herself, the designer’s fall 2016 bridal collection isn’t called “The Gilded Age” for nothing. Indeed the title of the collection is a promise to brides looking to channel the glamour of a long-ago era.
