Delicate, stunning lace details, flutter sleeves, ornate beading and appliqués provide the finishing touches, with versatility at the forefront of the designs. “We were looking at the notion of transformation – the idea that a woman might not want just one look at their wedding and they don’t have time to change,” Marchesa co-founder Keren Craig was quoted as saying. “So think of a short skirt getting an overskirt that wraps around to create a gown or a sleeves that come off.”
