We love the warmth and thought poured into this beautiful wedding at Shangri-La’s Rasa Sayang Resort & Spa Penang. To celebrate the beginning of the rest of their lives together, they chose the theme of “ethereal luxe tropical”, a soothing and gorgeous colour palette with intimate details that highlighted the people and parts of their lives that they cared about. We were deeply moved by the way they left a note on a chair for a parent who was not there. What a beautiful gesture to honour the love of a father. More than just a relaxing and cosy evening for close friends and family, the ambience also reflected the bridal couple’s love for the outdoors. Everything, from the selection of venue and the colour palette to the wedding gown design and other items, was synced to perfection, while creative splashes of tangerine, rose gold and rustic red in the bridal bouquet, shoes and décor tastefully brought the wedding stage to life amid the lush green surroundings.
The groom shared: “We loved the way the overall concept and theme came to life, right down to the littlest detail. The wedding was styled by the bride herself, with lots of handwritten and DIY decorations.”
