We’re smitten with this wedding, from the abundance of flowers and greenery to the radiant smiles as this couple embarked on their new journey together as man and wife, from the cosy atmosphere to the exuberant guests… all bathed in beautiful sunlight. Many thanks to Andrew Yep Photographie for this vibrant set of photos!
Pearly: “The most memorable moment of the day was the march-in, where I was surrounded by all our guests cheering for us. Also, my husband’s touching speech that really took my breath away.
“When it came to the wedding venue, we wanted somewhere that was comfortable, surrounded by greenery, and that had a good amount of natural lighting. We wanted a simple, romantic wedding, and the first place that came to mind was Botanica + Co at Bangsar South. We wanted to have a lot of interaction with our families and friends, a party with free flow wine, coffee and a live band. Our theme was floral with white, pink and highlights of gold.”
Andrew Yep of Andrew Yep Photographie: “Pearly and Calvin didn’t want a super luxurious wedding. In fact, they preferred to have something more intimate, memorable and meaningful. They flew to Tokyo twice as part of their preparations, as Pearly really loves Japan, and got their wedding rings made there.”
Tips from the bride: “It’s important to be on the same wavelength as your partner in terms of style, venue, theme, guest list, and of course, the budget. Plan a wedding that you like, and it’ll be a wedding that you’re proud of.”
