Closely resembling an indoor garden, this intimate wedding was warm and enveloped in so much love and nature, with décor comprising lush greens and botanicals with simple, clean white flowers. Attended by family and close friends only, it was the perfect mix of modern and rustic, with a nod towards traditions and family. The bride’s lace gown and veil added texture to the simple colour palette, while the groom’s tan linen suit complemented the warm neutrals perfectly. Many thanks to DiktatPhotography for this wonderful set of photos!
Devi: “Our theme was rustic with lots of greenery – we love greenery! We’re glad to have chosen Bunga Rampai as our venue; they were able to accommodate what we wanted and served great Indonesian food.
“Jason cried during the ceremony as he gave a testimony on how good God has been to us. If anyone had asked me if I was ready to get married, I would’ve said, ‘Yes I’m sure’ a thousand times over. He is so worth the wait!”
Tips from the bride: “Pinterest, Instagram and wedding blogs helped me a lot, but keep your daily dose of it low or you’ll be changing your mind at every minute! Also, remember that this event is a celebration of your love, not an event for you to show off. Don’t let yourself be defined by the standards of society! Definitely don’t try to please everyone; it’s your day so do it your way without ruining your relationships. Enjoy the wedding prep and prepare yourself to step into married life.”
