With deep, moody hues set against bright white blooms, and dark eucalyptus leaves contrasting textured wheat stalks, this chic wedding was simply gorgeous! The ivy-covered walls and warm wooden textures were the perfect backdrop, and we especially love the ceiling bouquet of flowers that took the place of a chandelier! The bride looked absolutely resplendent in her lacy bridal gown and classic jewellery, and the entire bridal party was truly a sight to behold. Many thanks to Jasmine A. Photography for this unbelievably beautiful set of photos.
Stefanie: “The most memorable moment for me was the moment I walked down the aisle. Right before the chapel doors swung open, the air was thick, and I was nervously holding on to my dad. But walking down the aisle, surrounded by familiar faces and feeling the love and support from all our guests was incredible! Also, the exact moment when both my husband and I locked eyes was definitely something I’ll remember for the rest of my life.
“We had always wanted a relatively small, close-knit wedding with our closest family and friends. Stones of the Yarra has always been one of our favourite vineyards in the Yarra Valley. It was the first venue we visited and it was our last! Hands down, it was also one of the best decisions we made for the wedding. As for the colour palette, I had always known I wanted a rustic feel to the décor and flowers, hence the pastels with a hint of moody tones.”
Tips from the bride: “The day actually goes by so quickly! I’m so glad I took a moment between the ceremony and reception to step into the reception area (The Barn) and savour the decorations before the guests made their way in. As I didn’t hire a wedding planner or decorator for the wedding, it was amazing to see my vision and concept come to life on the day. Everything was exactly how I had wanted and pictured it to be, and I could not be more grateful for that. I would definitely recommend taking things slow on your wedding day: enjoy every moment and memory as they come because the day really does just zip by!”
