In the sophisticated setting of luxurious resort Rosewood Phuket, Nattie and Sett, a couple whose love story began during a summer internship, celebrated their union overlooking the Andaman. Their journey from a casual meet-cute in 2011 to a stunning destination wedding in 2023, put together by planners -the wedding bliss, is a beautiful narrative of a 12-year relationship, shared adventures, and a deep connection with the island of Phuket.

Their decision to tie the knot at Rosewood Phuket was influenced by their love for the island. Phuket, a place of many vacations and fond memories, presented the perfect blend of beauty, convenience of an international airport, and top-notch service. The couple wanted a venue where they could relax and celebrate with their 80 guests, making Rosewood with its stunning beach views and elegant immersive design the ideal choice.

The wedding theme was a kaleidoscope of colours and Mediterranean flair. The ladies wore colourful frocks, while men donned linen attire. The bridesmaids glowed in pink, complementing the groomsmen in their classic tuxedos, adding to the day’s elegance and festivity. The bride looked polished in her versatile sweetheart neckline Vera Wang gown, which she later completed with bird cage veil, lace gloves and statement organza bow during the reception to give off old Hollywood vibes.

Their special day unfolded with an outdoor cocktail session set to the melody of a live classical music band. The emotional ceremony was followed by a photo session and a sit-down dinner, peppered with speeches, quizzes, and heartwarming moments. The night escalated with a DJ, a champagne sparkle parade, and a surprise dance performance by the bridesmaids, making it a day filled with joy and unforgettable memories.

What stood out was the engraved wine box. Inside, a bottle of wine from the year they started dating and letters to each other, to be opened -the wine to drink and the letters to be read during tough times, served as a poignant reminder of their journey and commitment.

Their advice to couples planning their wedding is stay true to what feels right. “Browse as many photos as you can, then pinned the ones you like. You will find similarity in them and I think that is how you find your style.” shared Nattie. Most importantly, they emphasised being present and soaking in the love and joy of the day.
