Oh, these newlyweds really knocked it out of the park with their dreamy woodland romance. From the ivy and green décor to the sparklers, this was all kinds of a midsummer’s night dream. Against the clean and simple palette of green, white and pale pink, the only things that really shone were the bride’s bright smile and everyone’s uncontainable joy. The dancing, happy toasts and sweet vows were the main event of the day. Many thanks to Tealily Photography for capturing these amazing shots!

Michelle: “We wanted a warm and relaxed springtime wedding, with live music, old-school garden games and endless food and drinks! The highlights for me were hearing Richard’s vows – we wrote our own vows and kept them a secret from each other until the ceremony. Also, my parents’ speech, our first dance, and my brother’s surprise performance with our band (he sang ‘Hallelujah’ and ‘If I Ain’t Got You’) which spontaneously turned into a father-daughter and mother-son dance!”

Richard: “Seeing Mel for the first time at the ceremony and our first dance were my most memorable moments. We started out with no dancing experience whatsoever and had so much fun at our dance lessons each week – so the first dance just brought it all together!”

Tips from the bride: “Try not to stress, it will all work out! Remember why you’re getting married in the first place. Try to be as organised as possible in the planning stages, and double confirm things with your vendors! Schedule in time to relax a few days before the wedding, also definitely have weekly date nights where wedding talk is banned!”
