Everything has potential for a pre-wedding shoot, even an empty swimming pool. A good photographer will always be able to provide an alternative that is able to convey the same message. This is a series of conceptual photos put together by Raymond Phang, who never fails to impress us.

Raymond: “This conceptual pre-wedding shoot aimed to create a stark contrast between an empty, dried up swimming pool and a water activity, which was canoe polo. The groom teaches canoe polo and the people in these photos are his students. The couple felt it would be meaningful to involve his students, whom he spends a lot of time teaching and inspiring.

“One of the shots also featured the bride in a bikini, seated on the ground with lots of McDonald’s takeaway bags. The bride loves McDonald’s and Hello Kitty, hence we incorporated that into the shoot as well.”
