We love how this couple, both interior designers, transformed a large hall at the Borneo Convention Centre into a lush garden-themed wedding venue! Their love for nature and greenery is evident from the tall arch of bramble and large leaves, elegantly dressed with hanging bulbs; the adorable potted succulents that served as wedding favours; and the decorative ornaments in bronze, brown and oak. Thanks to Andy Phe of Bespoke Photoraphics for these splendid shots!
Michelle: “We chose the Borneo Convention Centre in Kuching for its high ceilings, natural sunlight and great service,” said the couple. Where a faux woodland realm is created indoors, it is imperative that the colours mesh well together, and they have certainly pulled it off beautifully! What can we say? Their artful conceptualisation of the space certainly conveys their passion for the outdoors.
Tips from the bride: “Start to plan your wedding a year ahead. Firstly, decide on your theme and concept. Never do last minute planning. Nothing is perfect, and whatever doesn’t go your way on the big day, just let it go, live in the moment, and enjoy.”
