They kept the colours simple with just white and dusty pink, and let nature do the rest. We especially loved the transparent marquee roof that gave this wedding ceremony its beautiful natural light.
Going hand in hand with the garden setting, the combination of bridal flowers, with lots of leafy greens, beautifully complemented the ceremony’s intimate feel, while the tea lights and floral centerpieces for the reception made for a simple yet elegant finish. Thanks to Jenny Sun Photography for this sweet set of photos.
Becky: “Every moment was precious; I loved our venues and the décor. Our happiest moment was the reception when we got to be with our friends and family. I didn’t have a particular theme in mind; I just wanted it to be chic, elegant, intimate and romantic. The colour theme was dusty pink, which was romantic but not too princess-y.”
Tips from the bride: “Plan ahead, pick a theme and stick with it. Confirm everything with your vendors the week before to make sure they can deliver what they’ve promised, and maybe also give them a plan B in case your preferred option cannot be delivered due to unforeseen circumstances. Hire a coordinator for the wedding day; it really makes a huge difference to have someone take care of everything for you. You really don’t want to worry about anything except enjoying the day to the fullest.”
