Nautical Themed Reception At Marina South Pier

It’s heartwarming when bridal couples tell us they chose a certain venue for a special reason. This nautical themed wedding is fun and super creative, and we love how the family members even dressed accordingly. It looks amazing!

Michelle of Awesome Memories Photography: “The riverboat brought back old childhood memories for the bride as her dad used to bring her there for A&W at Sentosa (the riverboat used to house the A&W fast food restaurant). Furthermore, the venue is different from regular hotel venues.

“The theme fit the venue perfectly. The colours chosen were the couple’s favourite colours. Regina and Liqun spent a year collecting the shells of scallops that they’d eaten for their wedding day. Guests were asked to write down their idea of a perfect date on the shells, which was a great alternative to a guestbook.

Tips from the bride: “Do what the both of you like, not what other people want. Remember, it’s your wedding.”
