A rustic garden courtyard, good food and everything set to a beautiful olive theme sounds like the perfect weekend. Here’s a wedding that was held at a gorgeous garden courtyard just outside of Barcelona, carefully put together by Detallerie and photographed by Diez & Bordons.
Nuria of Detallerie: “The groom’s family has a tradition of being involved in the production of olive oil, so the couple requested that olives play a role in the wedding decorations. For this reason, everything from the bride’s bouquet to the centrepieces and many other elements were created around that theme, with the help of Moshi Floristería.
“The most memorable part of the wedding for the couple was being at the venue with all their family and friends for their wedding ceremony and celebration. It was a big challenge for Detallerie, because even though there were so many guests, the celebration had to remain very cosy and in a very natural environment. The bridal couple wanted their wedding to convey who they are: simple, cheerful and very nature oriented.
“The chairs were placed in a semicircle for the ceremony so that the couple could feel closer to their guests, and because they are nature lovers, they also gave each guest some seeds to cultivate, in the hope that the plants they become will be a sweet memory of this special day.”
