We were just spellbound going through the photos from this spectacular wedding at The Westin Jakarta, Indonesia. The glitz and glamour were everything that the deserving couple tried to achieve – and did with the help of Casabono Wedding. Kudos to Mordèn for the amazing captures!
The bride shared: “The 1920s art deco-inspired design concept by Casabono Wedding was beyond gorgeous. The ballroom danced to the tune of jazz. Smiles and laughter from family and friends filled the air and made the night memorable. Our favourite part was the wedding dance. That was simply magical.”
The newlyweds wanted a grand wedding celebration that would be glamorous and luxurious. They chose the Java Ballroom at The Westin Jakarta, a beautiful banquet hall decorated with elegant trumpet flower chandeliers. The bride is an old soul with a penchant for the 1920s. Everything about that era – the glamorous art deco, jazz and glitz – stole her heart. Wedding planner Casabono Wedding created the 1920s art deco design concept for this wedding, and infused plenty of modern art deco elements in the backdrop and foyer installations as well.
Gold and black colours were used to create a luxurious look. Vibrant flowers in hues of red, fuchsia and purple were used to accentuate the gold and black décor. A mirror gazebo was built in the middle of the ballroom, complete with hanging gold leaves, crystal drops and chandeliers to create a dramatic focal point for the beautiful couple.
The bridal couple took their first dance together to Calum Scott’s ‘You are the Reason’, and just look at that elegant cake, with its seven tiers of ivory and gold, topped with gorgeous layers of décor leaves! What an evening for the newlyweds and their families.
