Sometimes we feel that there is more to simple weddings. This wedding held at Stones of the Yarra Valley, an hour from Melbourne, is a wonderful example of that.
Jessica went for a very simple natural look, and instead of a bouquet or veil, she wore an ethereal floral headpiece for a rustic look. It is just so refreshing to see brides wearing their hair down once in a while. For her wedding gown, she chose a crinkled creation made from spotted tulle that was designed by Gwendolynne Burkin.
The décor featured amber beer bottles that the bridal couple had collected over time, hanging from the oak tree under which they were married. The rest of the bottles and glass jars were used to decorate the dining area.
The couple wanted to keep the colour tones natural so the florist used flowers like David Austin and iceberg roses, lisianthus, hydrangeas, snowberries and field daisies with sprigs of rosemary. Somehow, the interior of this venue reminds us a little of Tanahrimba Janda Baik, Pahang.
