Joyce: “Our photographer, Bobby’s brother, had recently returned from Yosemite, and we fell in love with the explosion of colours in various parts of the park. After much research, especially on Pinterest, we discovered these other areas in Arizona. We’d never been to any of these locations even as tourists, so we figured we’d make an adventure out of it as well!
“Planning wise, I would be the one finding photo ops and their locations while Beam would do the plotting of routes. Our entire photoshoot took about five days, including travelling.
“As cliché as it sounds, the most memorable part of the whole trip was the experience itself, and to have my husband with me. We made sure to be present in the moment and appreciate the beauty around us. We were also very fortunate to have found an anchoring friendship in Bobby and his fiancée. This whole experience truly was a dream come true for us.”
