Somehow, Alex and James’ story feels like the picture that we have always wanted to paint for soon-to-wed couples. Celebrate each other, be yourself and have loads of fun. We don’t know what brought them together but they are truly perfect for each other. They put aside the traditions of a typical wedding, choosing instead to walk a new and narrow path in their Converse sneakers, and celebrating their nuptials as a day for themselves.
They both love superheroes, playing games and doing crazy things together. So they built their wedding around that theme. The New Children Museum in San Diego was the perfect venue. The main colours that anchored the décor were bright shades like yellow, orange and pink. Alex and James were smart enough to bring in a wedding planner, and they must surely be thankful for that. With details like these, we wouldn’t recommend anyone with a full-time job try to DIY all this on their own.
Crazy things aside, couples like this give us hope, and remind us that somewhere out there is the person who will love and accept us as we are. The vows that Alex and James made to each other are a sign of that kind of love, and that high-five at the end? Surely there’s no other couple like them.
