It was the high point of their lives, a splendid day filled with joy and thankfulness as the couple prepared to transition from courtship to marriage. The camaraderie and laughter, the happy tears, the pride on the parents’ faces, the elation of being pronounced “man and wife” – all these and more were part of this dignified celebration at Ungasan Clifftop Uluwatu in Bali, Indonesia. Cheers to the beginning of a new chapter, and many thanks to Punyan Photography for these meaningful captures!
“Amongst our best memories were watching the delight on our guests’ (and vendors’) faces when they saw Teddy’s parents perform Chinese rap,” Cherry reminisced. “They performed three songs!”
The concept for the décor was rustic industrial, a striking contrast between the delicate touches of pastels, petals, drapes, wood and earth against the hard lines of industry. To the couple, the marriage of those elements represented balance, a sensible principle to uphold as they navigate the seasons of life together.
Tips from the bride: “Although the wedding planning process is sometimes frustrating and sometimes dramatic, try to enjoy it no matter what. Get close to your best friends and share your load with them. They are there to help you.”
