Joey and Jun Kit celebrated their union in a beautiful beachside wedding at St Regis Langkawi. Their love story began during their A-levels. Joey and Jun Kit shares a passion for sports and had the unique experience of co-organizing an event together in their college years, allowing for plenty of time spent together, which lead to a decade of romance before they tied the knot.
Joey, who practices corporate finance at an oil and gas firm, found her perfect match in Jun Kit, who is an agriculturalist. Their diverse careers beautifully complemented each other, much like their personalities.
Selecting the right wedding venue can be a challenge, but Joey and Jun Kit had a clear vision in mind. They wanted a an intimate beach wedding, and Langkawi emerged as the obvious choice. Scouting around various resorts, they compared the vibe, facilities, guest capacity, and, most importantly – the venue’s availability. St Regis Langkawi stood out as the perfect blend of resort atmosphere with a touch of class, setting the mood for an intimate celebration. The incredible service offered by the venue left the couple wanting for nothing.
The theme for the day was “resort elegance in white,” a choice that added a touch of sophistication to the beachside ceremony. The day’s events were well planned out: from the morning gate crashing games to the evening vow ceremony and exchange of vows, and finally, the night-time reception dinner. The entire wedding was cherished by the couple as an intimate moment shared with close friends and family. Blessed with beautiful weather, one moment that truly stood out for them was the stunning sunset that cast a romantic glow during their vow ceremony.
