Bohemian Chic Wedding At M Boutique Station 18

Imagine having a boutique hotel to house all your guests and a beautiful lunch reception venue. This bridal couple was in for a treat when they walked away as the winner of this wedding giveaway by the newly launched M Boutique Station 18. And the creative bride did a perfect job of injecting personality into the already gorgeous MYTH Espresso Bar. Together with Andrew Yep Photographie, it was indeed a dream team that made this wedding everything we’d envisioned it to be – and so much more.

Shermaine: “I have always wanted a wedding that was simple yet chic. I run an event styling agency, so it made sense to have my amazing team decorate my wedding. We incorporated feathers and flowers, a mix of vintage and glass vases in different shapes and sizes, and lace paper as table runners. Other accessories we used were dreamcatchers, vines draped over the chandeliers, birdcages, scented candles, and lots and lots of fresh lavender! The café smelt amazing!”

Tips from the bride: “Keep it personal! Writing little thank you notes on the back of your guests’ place cards and wedding favours go a long way. The wedding favours don’t have to be expensive, but they should show your guests how much you appreciate their presence. A simple hand bouquet with a thank you note that also serves as a napkin holder is a great idea, and makes for a pretty tablescape too! Most importantly, be comfortable and be yourself on your big day.
