Virainia: “We fell in love with Khayangan Estate the first time we laid eyes on it. It was perfect. We wanted a rustic wedding without overdoing the décor, and Khayangan fit the bill perfectly. The estate on its own is already breathtakingly beautiful with its oaken villas, dreamy gardens – everything was just on point.”

The newlyweds even prepared hangover pouches and KAOS Barong Balinese shirts for the comfort of their guests, and for wedding favours, they filled tote bags with Balinese food – because they love to eat!

Keeping the wedding theme to a minimal palette of nudes and earth tones was all it took to enhance the garden where they exchanged vows. “Because we wanted to focus on the connection and emotions of the day rather than the ‘materials’ of the day,” they shared.

Tips from the bride: “Be present! Enjoy every single second of it, even the stressful moments during planning. It will pass and when it does, you’ll somehow miss it – the excitement, the giddiness, the joy and happiness, the packed schedule and even the stressful bits.”
