Casual setups will reign this year to bring a lost sense of intimacy and fun back into weddings. An ice cream truck and a caravan bar? That has to be a sign of a perfect barn wedding party. And that gorgeous Anna Campbell dress completes the look. Thanks, Studio Something Photography, for sending us such a beautiful wedding.
Nikita: “We’d always wanted to have a very relaxed atmosphere, and we knew we wanted somewhere with a barn. We looked far and wide before we came across Bella Vista Farm, which was so close to home! Once we secured the venue, the rest of the styling evolved around that. We met our stylist Sally, whom we immediately clicked with, and we started to bounce lots of ideas off each other. We loved the idea of beautiful and soft styling against the rustic venue, and we wanted to keep it fun with lawn games and picnic blankets.
“I made the tulle backdrop that we got married in front of. My auntie was our celebrant, and our wedding was the first one she had officiated, which made the ceremony so special and personal for us. She did an amazing job and it was nice to know someone else was as nervous as we were!
Tips from the bride: “One thing we are glad we did on the day was slowing down and taking it all in. I often hear people say their weddings went by too quick and it was all a blur. Appreciate every minute. The second thing is don’t be afraid to go against tradition and do something a little different; make the day a unique reflection of you as a couple, and you will love every moment.”
