A compatible couple is often evidenced by the ideals and thoughtfulness they put into their wedding. Since En Li and Andy were going to have a conventional church-and-hotel wedding in Kuala Lumpur later on, they opted for an outdoor winter ceremony in the concrete jungle of Hong Kong for something different.

Held at the exclusive Beas River Country Club, the newlyweds’ thoughtfulness came through in the form of heatpacks in personalised pouches as wedding favours, so guests could stay warm in the chilly, but very lovely, open. Amid the tastefully selected décor in hues of Marsala red, family and friends enjoyed the posh venue and rejoiced in their union. And MunKeat Photography was there to capture all the beauty!

Tips from the bride: “Not everything has to be expensive for it to look good. Be creative when sourcing items, and never accept the first quote you get when it comes to decorations. Think of ways to achieve the look you want with fewer items. Use websites like Taobao and Alibaba to source cheap décor items and wedding favours. That being said, don’t skimp on things that you know are important to you such as your wedding dress and shoes! After all you only get married once, so focus and spend on the things that you know you will remember 30 years down the road.”
