Putting together an elegant white on white wedding is no easy feat; there needs to be the right balance of drama and grandeur. This wedding got it right – from the elaborate floral centerpieces with dangling pearls and crystal elements to the gilded candelabras and the red drinking glasses, not to mention the lush green floral photo backdrop that was the most breathtaking piece of décor! Another perfect collaboration between Tie The Knot and Wishing Tree. Thanks to Zung from The Photoz for capturing this absolutely stunning set of photos.
Wishing Tree: “The bride had left it mainly to the wedding planner (Sherly Abdul Aziz of Tie The Knot) to conceptualise the floral décor, with just one instruction: it had to be white and elegant. The couple had held their engagement party in Bangkok last year and it was a grand white affair, hence they wanted to have the same aesthetics for their wedding.
“Another thing the bride insisted on was a huge photo backdrop, as that was the most important element for her. Back home in Bangkok (she’s Thai), their backdrops are very elaborate and usually full of lush flowers. We had to balance the décor with what the bride wanted without it being too minimalist or over the top.”
