Trained as a mechanical engineer, Jeremy Tok noticed the decline of the tailoring heritage in Malaysia, and decided to teach himself traditional coat making in his free time. He subsequently apprenticed part-time with a coat maker before becoming a tailor himself, resurrecting the traditional and time-honoured methods of tailoring that were close to being forgotten. Since then, he has outfitted CEOs, ministers and celebrities.
